The Certification Process involves 3 Key Steps:

• Eligibility Check:
  • Set A Requirements:
    • Secondary Degree (High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree or the Global equivalent)
    • Possess a minimum of 96 months of Professional Business Experience within the last 15 Years
    • 84 Months of Portfolio Management Experience
• OR
  • Set B Requirements:
    • Four-Year Degree (Bachelor’s Degree or the Global equivalent)
    • Possess a minimum of 96 months of Professional Business Experience within the last 15 Years
    • 48 Months of Portfolio Management Experience
• Application Submission:
  • Prepare a solid Application citing your relevant Portfolio Management experience based on a prescribed Application Format
  • Submit the application to PMI for review.
  • Submit the Application Fee between the 2 Step Application Approval Process
• Exam:
  • After Application Approval, Prepare and Sit the PfMP Certification Exam to earn your Credential.

Unlike other PMI Certifications, PfMP Application Process is very challenging to pass as it requires attention to detail and careful documentation. Follow these steps:

  • Review PMI’s Exam Content Outline (ECO).
  • Familiarize yourself with Eligibility Criteria and required documentation.
• Prepare Application Draft:

  • Address every requirement specified by PMI.
